Canopus to introduce SDI option for the CWS100 editing workstation

Canopus will unveil new broadcast products and technologies at IBC, including a new SDI option for the CWS100 turnkey linear and nonlinear editing workstation. The CWS30 mobile workstation designed for remote location production with three streams of real-time DV output will also be on display.
Canopus will also show the MPEGPRO MVR and the MPEGPRO EMR, the first in a new line of professional real-time MPEG encoding and DVD authoring solutions for DVD producers, multimedia professionals and video enthusiasts. Both products feature advanced pre-filtering and variable bit rate encoding capabilities to produce MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video.
For local video networking, Canopus will show the MediaEdge LAN-based video distribution system. MediaEdge-SWT is a software-based PC client that allows video signals to be decoded from the MediaEdge server unit by using the Canopus MPEG software.
