Rosenfeld Takes Reigns at Granite Stations

Matthew A. Rosenfeld has been named president and general manager of three Granite Broadcasting stations in New York. He will oversee WTVH-TV, the company’s CBS affiliate in the Syracuse/Utica; and WBNG-TV and WBXI-TV, its CBS and CW affiliates respectively serving the Binghamton/Elmira market. His appointment is effective immediately.
Rosenfeld was previously vice president of sales and station manager for both CBS stations. Before joining Granite, he was local sales manager for several Raycom Media stations in the Syracuse area. He holds a degree in computer information systems with a concentration in marketing from Rochester Institute of Technology’s School of Business. He has also attended the National Association of Broadcasters’ Management Development for Television Executives at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Granite, based in New York City, owns, operates and runs 14 stations in 11 markets.
