Broadcast Microwave Services (BMS) has added the Digital ENG Truck System to its existing COFDM product line.
The BMS Digital ENG Truck System combines a BMS News-Coder –a compact rack-mountable transmitter dedicated to digitally transmitting audio, video and data signals- with the new BPA-10CC, 10 watt power amplifier. The new system includes MPEG-2 encoding COFDM digital modulation and RF amplification. It can be used from fixed, portable or mobile environments and enables non-line-of-sight transmission.
BMS also offers the News-Coder AD, an analog FM option that preserves compatibility with existing contribution links.
The News-Coder features pre-defined or user selected operating modes designed to achieve the best tradeoff between transmission, robustness, video quality and end delay.
