Howard Schlieper has been named director of the newly formed Entertainment Solutions Group, an Orlando, Fla., based unit of A.F. Associates (AFA), designed to expand the scope of core consulting, design and integration services and resources it offers to the location-based entertainment industry.
Prior to joining AFA, Schlieper served as senior vice president of Showorks Entertainment Group (formerly part of Soundelux). Schlieper has experience in the senior design and project management of a variety of audio, video, and control systems, with focused expertise in themed and specialized venues, where his clients have included Universal Studios, Hard Rock Café, and Experience Music Project.
As Director of AFA's Entertainment Solutions Group, Schlieper is responsible for developing business in this growing segment of the industry and servicing clients. He holds a B.S. in Audio Technology from American University in Washington, D.C., and is a member of the Audio Engineering Society.
