Westinghouse races to new digital marketing partnership

Westinghouse Digital Electronics is now the official digital electronics supplier for Team Rensi Motorsports. In this new partnership, Westinghouse Digital will provide the team with LCD HDTVs, LCD monitors, and technical support in exchange for exclusive product placement, branding opportunities as well as logo placement on both the Marines, No. 25, and McDonald's, No. 35, team race cars. Team Rensi Motorsports races in the NASCAR Busch Series Racing Season.

The Westinghouse LCD TVs and monitors, used to display the race for fans and crewmembers, will update outdated displays. Several TVs will be mounted in the "pit box" for pit fans and guests to view the race. The crew chief will also use 19in LCD monitors placed in the pit boxes to communicate with the driver. In order to make pit stops more efficient, the stop is videotaped and the LCD monitors will be used to playback the stop in order for the pit crew to make improvements.
