Japanese MBS produces game with ‘Circle Surround’

Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS), a television station in Japan, produced the live broadcast of the Yomiuri Giants vs. Hanshin Tigers baseball game in SRS Circle Surround 5.1 last month.

The game was held in Koshien Stadium, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, and was broadcast throughout Japan via the 28 national network stations of the Tokyo Broadcasting System. During the game, the SRS Circle Sound logo was displayed on screen, to let viewers know they were enjoying the game in Circle Surround.

Earlier this year, MBS introduced SRS CS to Japanese sports fans when it broadcast all 32 games of the 77th National High School Baseball Invitational Tournament in SRS Circle Surround.
