Chyron releases ChyTV digital signage solution

ChyTV uses existing television displays to overlay/tailor audio, video and graphic messages directly to select audiences.

Television graphics company Chyron recently introduced ChyTV, a new digital signage solution that combines powerful graphics, video and audio capabilities.

ChyTV uses existing television displays to overlay/tailor audio, video and graphic messages directly to select audiences in lobbies, waiting rooms, hotels, hospitals, universities, retail outlets, restaurants, bars, sports venues and entertainment environments. Anywhere there’s a television ChyTV can be easily used to convey targeted, timely messages from security and emergency alerts to promotional messages.

Additional features include:

  • Easy and intuitive creation, scheduling, distribution and display of graphic content via common authoring programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop and others as well as ChyTV supplied templates.
  • Resize video regions and position from page to page with smooth, dynamic transitions. Graphics and text regions can surround or overlay video windows.
  • Audio WAV files integrate seamlessly for sound clips and audio alerts.
  • Self-contained unit interfaces with any existing video system.

The company will demonstrate ChyTV at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York City January 26.
