Telestream continues to add new features and functionality to its Flip4Mac software. The latest enhancements allows Mac users to import content from the Thomson Grass Valley Infinity series Digital Media Camcorders and REV PRO drives directly into Final Cut Pro 5 for editing.
Leveraging an all-digital, file-based, media workflow, users of the new Flip4Mac Infinity Component can take in MXF-based media from the Infinity camcorder and begin editing and previewing effects in real time.
The Flip4Mac Infinity Component imports MPEG-2 HD and DV25 SD media directly from REV PRO drives without transcoding the media file to baseband video. Flip4Mac Infinity Import Component produces a .MOV file that is immediately placed into the project bin by dragging and dropping the clip onto the timeline.
With the Flip4Mac Infinity Component, Mac users can import and browse REV PRO drives for quick, easy access, providing a faster, more efficient, file-based workflow with greater efficiency and productivity.
