At NAB2006, Ross Video will show a variety of enhancements for its Synergy SD, Synergy MD production switchers, version 4.0 of its OverDrive production control system, and launch a new concept in broadcast terminal equipment called openGear.

The latest enhancement to the Synergy SD is version 16 software, which adds device interfaces for Avid Airspeed and EVS maXS servers, Canon and Sony robotic cameras, Chyron Duet CGs, Extron routers, Look Ahead Serial Tally (LAST) for interfacing to virtual set, such as BrainStorm, and enhancements to the Miranda K2 virtual monitor wall system.

The Synergy MD/X multidefinition production switcher’s enhanced range of formats includes SD at 525 and 625 lines and HD at 720P, 1080i and 1080psf with 50Hz, 59.94Hz and 24fps rates. The Synergy MD WARP engine adds curvilinear effects to the Squeeze & Tease 3D DVE.
