Proximity made the European debut of Artbox, a video asset management system for broadcast television and post-production creative departments, at IBC2004.
Artbox lets artists and producers manage all of their work from one interface, resulting in more efficient and accurate content production workflow and higher-quality creative work output.
Using Artbox, a creative team can remove up to a third of the non-creative activity in its daily routine, leaving more time to create content and less time needed to manage it.
Artbox integrates format conversion, storage, workflow management, and search and retrieval of artwork (video, graphics, script or audio) into a single device. Users can search, transfer and transcode, edit clips, generate EDLs, and manage media across multiple formats and platforms.
