A new digital content distribution application will be on hand at the Pathfire booth at NAB.
The bandwidth and network-agnostic application uses satellite and terrestrial transport technology. The distribution monitoring tools deliver confirmation reports, enabling studios to observe package distribution across a network of theaters. With the new application, audio staff can send packages at optimal times, ensuring maximum bandwidth use.
Michael J. Eckert, the Roswell, Ga.-based company's president and CEO is looking forward to the annual convention to show of the company's new product.
"We're very excited to be demonstrating our digital cinema content distribution for the first time at NAB," he said.
Pathfire will be in Booth SL1353.
