NETIA, a provider of software for managing and broadcasting television and radio content, will feature new tools for logging and management of content at IBC2006.
Media Logging is designed to capture, index, transcode and distribute audio and video content. It captures files in automatic or semi-automatic modes files into a special database for examination, segmentation and completion with requisite metadata. The software incorporates speech-to-text and image recognition functionalities and is adapted to the needs of media companies and telcos in connection with content repurposing.
Another of the company's products, Manreo, features asset management and archiving capabilities that provide a single system approach for broadcasters. Manreo has extensive publishing capabilities for multiple formats, allowing users to publish content to many different targets. The program provides for ingest, digitization, archiving, indexing, intranet searches and browsing of all types of audio/video files. It can be set up to automatically encode and publish content to specified users, including mobile phones.
