Leitch Technology Corp. recently began shipping Version 8.0 of its dpsVelocity dual-stream nonlinear editing and Web streaming system. The upgrade is designed to allow users to increase productivity and edit projects faster.
New features include:
* Multicamera editing
* Real-time "garbage mattes"
* Direct DV I/O support
* An array of flexible timeline and user-interface enhancements, including customizable hotkeys and user-selectable A/X/B or single-track editing modes
dpsVelocity 8.0 is available as a turnkey system in mid-tower and rack-mount form factors, as boardset-and-software bundles for use with Windows and as a software upgrade for existing users.
