At NAB2006, Iconix unveiled its new 2.3oz HD-RH1 high-definition point-of-view camera head and camera control unit.
The multiformat HD camera supports 720p at 24Hz, 25Hz, 30Hz, 50Hz and 60Hz; 1080i at 50Hz and 60Hz; and 1080p at 24Hz, 25Hz, 30Hz, 50Hz and 60Hz. The camera uses three 1/3in 16:9 CCDs and 14-bit quantization to deliver a sensitivity of F8 at 2000 lux. Signal to noise is less than 60dB. The camera offers programmable gamma function. It is genlockable and can be remotely controlled.
Outputs include RGB/YPbPr and HD-SDI. Two single link 4:2:2 or dual link 4:4:4 or dual link 4:2:2 outputs are available. Inputs include gunlock, tri-level sync, RS-232 and DSUB-9.
The camera control unit weighs 2.6lbs and is 8.4in wide, 1.78in high, and 12in deep. It can be positioned up to 30ft from the camera head.
