ESE has introduced the DV-201, an SDI 1 x 4 distribution amplifier. The unit distributes content at 3Gbps, 1.5Mbps and 270Mbps data rates. The DV-201 automatically detects the data rate and then re-clocks and equalizes the signal. The DV-201 can equalize 400m @ 270Mbps, 200m @ 1.5Mbps and 140m @ 3Gbps of 1694 coax cable.
An external power supply is not required as the DV-201 is self-contained and requires 117VAC or 220VAC to operate. The unit is contained by a black anodized aluminum enclosure (1.6” H x 7” W x 5” D) that can be placed behind an equipment rack or in the rack by specifying the rack mount option.
