Brick House Video has entered into a technology partnership with French company Let It Wave to offer high-quality signal-conversion technology in Brick House Video’s Syntax HD signal up/crossconverter. Company executives said the technology provided better quality conversion than many higher-priced units.
Syntax leverages an FPGA from Let It Wave that’s based on its super-resolution bandlet algorithms, offering the advantages of motion-compensated processing without the currently associated disadvantages of high cost and motion. A white paper on the technology is available at www.letitwave.com.
Delivery of the first Syntax units is scheduled for this month.
