The NFL Network is once again apart of the Dish team, as Dish Network announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with the NFL Network for carriage of both the NFL Network and RedZone.

The ongoing blackout between Tribune and Dish could soon effect the upcoming NFL season, at least for one market

Tribune’s blackout of its 42 local stations and WGN America across 33 Dish markets continues, as Tribune says that it has not heard anything from Dish in regards to negotiating a new contract.

While LPTVs can qualify for cable carriage rights, no such rules exist for satellite.

Unavailable on Dish since July 26, regional sports networks may be gone for good if negotiations don’t progress.

Meredith stations in 12 markets had been off-air since July.

Deal was done in time for viewers to watch NFL’s Sunday games.

Provider ranked first in all four regions.

Blackout impacts local channels in 17 markets across 23 states and D.C., as well as Fox cable channels.
