The Broadcasters Foundation of America is once again reaching out to members of the broadcast industry to raise money for broadcasters in need with its 2016 Holiday Giving Campaign.

Six individuals have been recognized with the Broadcasters Foundation of America’s 2017 Ward L. Quaal Leadership Awards, the organization announced via a press release.

With many broadcasters affected by the recent floods in Louisiana, the Broadcasters Foundation of America has taken action to support those affected with emergency grants.

Board members represent a wide array of broadcast and broadcast-related companies.

Organization says it will award more than $1.3 million to broadcasters in need.

Funds to assist with broadcasters that experienced illness or unforeseen disaster.
