Tymphany and Danish Sound Technology announce merger

Tymphany, developer of the Tymphany Linear Array Transducer (LAT), and Danish Sound Technology (DST), a manufacturer of audio transducers, announced the merger of the two companies. The combined company will focus on advances in audio sound generation, with design centers in Denmark, China and the U.S. Under the agreement, the newly merged company will combine the assets of Tymphany and the Scan-Speak, Peerless, Vifa, and Logic brands from DST. The combined company will be named Tymphany with headquarters in Cupertino, CA.
