ADC and Andrew Corp. announced May 31 that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement.
The transaction, approved by the boards of directors of both companies, will build upon the complementary strengths of each company.
The proposed business combination remains subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
The move is intended to position the combined company for the growing next-generation broadband, video, data and voice services markets worldwide.
Key members of the management teams from both companies will comprise the management team of the combined company after closing. The name of the combined company will be ADC Andrew.
