Weather Central Inc. announced the debut of the Digital Doppler Network at WTOL-TV in Toledo, Ohio. Using StormSentinel DV and NEXRAD Level II data, WTOL viewers see real-time radar images from the station's live radar as well as the Indianapolis and Northwest Indiana National Weather Service radars, simultaneously. Because the StormSentinel Digital Doppler Network sees approaching storms well before they reach the Toledo viewing area, WTOL now has the ability to alert viewers to threatening weather earlier and with more precision than ever before.
