Pharos Communications to exhibit digital asset management, archiving, routing, control and play-to-air systems at IBC2003

Continuing the development of the Pharos Playtime family, Pharos will show its new Studio Playtime which employs the company's package playout concept.

Studio Playtime enables broadcasters to emulate on-air the look and feel of Internet Web pages. It is ideal for the live studio gallery or a playout center that needs to deliver complex presentations while taking in live feeds to air.

Studio Playtime greatly reduces operational workflow and production costs for live events. An edit timeline forms the basis of a unique toolset for the creation and delivery of broadcast media publishing channels.

Pharos also will unveil the new Pilot MCR with full-function control of signal processing equipment. The Pharos Pilot MCR is unique in enabling complete desktop control of broadcast equipment. An enhanced Pharos Designer allows users to configure new device control displays. The company will introduce two new panels: the Intercom Conference Call Manager and the Router Labels.

Another new product from Pharos is the Information Centre, a Web-enabled information center that displays setup data, status, error messages and technical information.
