Optibase to ReVamp Media 100
By TVTechnology
published Optibase is planning to restructure Media 100, the NLE company it acquired last year.
The broadband media technology provider will eliminate some positions at Media 100 and reduce its research and development efforts. The changes are designed to improve the company's financial outlook.
The digital NLE market does not present Optibase with the most substantial growth opportunity, according to Optibase CEO Uzi Breier.
Optibase provides editing, compositing, encoding/decoding, video server upload and streaming technologies for professional telecom operators, broadcasters and more.
