(December 16, 2003) London, U.K. and Paris, France--NDS has completed its acquisition of Thomson's MEDIAHIGHWAY business. The deal was first announced in early September.
NDS also announced the appointment of Caroline Le Bigot as vice president and general manager of NDS Technologies, France. For the past four years, Le Bigot has held senior positions at Thomson, initially as vice president of broadband access products for Europe and Asia and then as vice president of cable business and retail digital decoders worldwide. Prior to Thomson, she spent three years with Gemplus as general manager of its southern EMEA Division, after 11 years at Apple Computer.
