By TVTechnology published
Jeff Baumann will retire from the NAB in February, the association said. He is executive vice president of legal and regulatory affairs.
"No CEO could ask for a better counselor," NAB President/CEO Eddie Fritts said in a statement.
According to NAB, Baumann and his department represent NAB before the FCC, the Federal Trade Commission, the Commerce Department's National Telecommunications and Information Administration and in court.
Before joining the association in 1984, he was deputy chief of the FCC Mass Media Bureau.
