Hispanic network adds SeaChange HD playout, production
By TVTechnology published
The Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network (HITN) has commissioned a new master control center built around SeaChange storage and servers for SD/HD playout and production.
SeaChange’s Broadcast MediaLibrary/MediaClient (BML/MCL) platform is now operating at HITN’s master control center located in the historic Brooklyn, NY, Navy Yard.
Already a SeaChange client, HITN repurposed its existing system for production applications while using the new architecture to begin meeting its HD playout and production requirements.
SeaChange’s BML/MCL architecture consists of the company’s Broadcast MediaLibrary servers to provide fault-resilient storage of media files and SeaChange MediaClient codecs.
