The high-definition film festival HDFEST plans to embark on its first annual world tour from November 2002 to May 2003. The tour will travel through London; Paris; Toronto; Ottawa, Canada; New York and Los Angeles.
HDFEST plans to present new high-definition works from around the globe. Content will be screened in hi-def using HD projection, and new technological advancements will be highlighted this year. The tour will start in London and continue screenings and festival events until its conclusion in New York.
Projects to be screened on the tour include feature-length dramas, short documentaries, short fictional dramas and comedies created using HD technology. The line-up of events will be released in September.
