FOX has placed a multimillion dollar contract with Grass Valley for a large amount of HD K2 media servers that will be deployed in a centralized location to distribute programming as digital files to its affiliated stations across the country.
Several FOX facilities are already well equipped with K2 servers, and several more are outfitted with older Profile XP servers, which have been in use for a number of years.
