Encoda launches new automation system for smaller broadcasters
By TVTechnology published
Encoda Systems has introduced a scaled down version of its automation system for smaller broadcasters.
The new Encoda system enables broadcasters to expand broadcast operations from a single channel to 1,000 on-air channels on a single system architecture. This system scalability and flexibility is offered while retaining the same features found in Encoda’s solutions for large multichannel facilities.
Modeled after the A7000 D-Series for larger scale operations, the components of the smaller D-Series provide functionality necessary for playout, automatic caching and system-wide alarm management. Core components include: content and delivery management, ingest and media preparation and workstations with a consistent graphical user interface (GUI) for all software. The system is built on the same frame-accurate, real-time technology of all Encoda automation and has interfaces to all Encoda currently supported devices.
The system is available now.
