Empire State Building names new manager for its broadcast facilities

The Empire State Building (ESB), the world’s most famous office building and the sole terrestrial transmission site for all of the SD and HD stations serving New York City and surrounding markets, has appointed Joseph J. Maguire as its new broadcast manager.

Maguire, a former chief engineer at WLTW-FM will oversee all business, management, operations and tenant relation functions of the ESB broadcasting and external telecommunications business. As a key member of the ESB management team, he will provide vital input to strategic planning, budgeting and decision-making.

Maguire will report to Empire State Building general manager James T. Connors on business matters, and director of operations Hani J. Salama for all operations and tenant relations issues.
