Creative Group has purchased and installed two Sony XPRI NLE systems in its New York facility. The new systems are being used for post production of the 24-hour HD FangoriaTV horror genre cable channel and HD broadcast projects for iNDemand, a VOD and pay-per-view programming provider.
The system offers real-time effects, native HD storage, color correction and audio controls, which Tom DeFeo--vice president of Creative Group and president of Moe Greene Entertainment--cited as reasons for the purchase.
Creative Group also acquired Sony HDW-F900 CineAlta and DVCam camcorders for Fangoria program production.
