Greater Nebraska Broadcasting has selected the Comprompter NewsKing news and automation for its newsrooms at KHAS in Hastings and KNOP in North Platte, Neb.
The Windows-based system was launched in 2001 to replace ENR, which had been out in 1982.
Ralph King, president of the La Crosse, Wis.-based firm notes that most of the company's clients stay with Comprompter for 10 to 15 years.
"It is doubly rewarding when stations, like KHAS/KNOP to through the entire process and then select us again," he said.
