Chai TV selects Pinnacle Systems to deploy solution for Paris, Jerusalem studios

Chai TV has chosen Pinnacle Systems to deploy a full-suite of products in its Paris and Jerusalem facilities to provide an end-to-end broadcast solution to meet that encompasses news production and program editing.

The Pinnacle Systems installation for Chai TV, the first international Jewish television channel, will include the Vortex news production solution, the Liquid Blue program editing suite, PDS 9000i production switchers and FXDEKO II character generators. The Pinnacle Systems MediaStream 900 Si networked server will handle play out. Chai TV, an independent international cable and satellite broadcaster targeting the Jewish Diaspora and those interested in the Middle East, is the brainchild of French businessman Michel Silber. The network broadcasts to Europe, the Americas and the Middle East 24 hours a day.

The new Paris studio, which was designed by the Pinnacle System’s European networked solutions group, is scheduled to be completed before the end of this year. It will be a “green field” installation that will let Chai TV take advantage of a fully integrated and networked product deployment.
