Vidiots launch online music library

A new online music library, Vidiots Music, has been launched by Vidiots, a New York full-service post-production firm. A team of cutting-edge composers whose work represents all musical genres, styles, moods and tempos fuels the library. Company co-founder and lifelong musician Michael Amoia spearheaded the effort.

The Vidiots Music library taps a variety of musical talents for source tracks and allows Web-based searches by title, style, mood, tempo or composer, then auditions the selections online. Once tracks are chosen, the licensing is handled by enabling a password that allows download. Music for full shows, commercial spots and promos is available. Cuts have already been licensed to clients such as MTV's “Room Raiders” and “Cribs,” VH1's “Driven,” CBS's “The NFL Today,” and the 2005-2006 season of ABC's “Monday Night Football.”
