Utah Scientific debuted its SqueezeMax digital effects and graphics system this week at the SMPTE Conference in New York. SqueezeMax combines a two-channel video effects unit with a graphics system for automated branding applications, alerts and information tickers. It is intended for use in conjunction with Utah's MC-2020 Digital Master Control switcher. The system incorporates a special version of VertigoXMedia's graphics software, which features graphics presentation capabilities and enables a streamlined workflow for creating and managing the channel's on-air look.
