Riedel Spotlights Its Connect IP and Connect Solo at IBC2006

Riedel Communications' Connect IP and Connect Solo will make its European debut at IBC2006. The two solutions will be added to Riedel's suite of products geared for the worldwide broadcast, pro-audio, event, sports and theater markets.

Connect IP, the 19-inch, 1 RU provides intelligent and seamless intercom interfacing to IP based networks and allows for matrix-to-matrix connections, from matrix to control panel(s) and distribution of audio lines over IP. The interface converts one AES3-stream and can be configured to individual bandwidth needs. The bandwidth is scaleable resulting in audio quality up to 20 kHz at 230 kb while standard 3.5 kHz (85dB) needs just 40 kb.

Combining two analog POTS telephone hybrids in just one half-rack unit, the compact Connect Solo system is designed for easy installation in studio and mobile applications and allows for two simultaneous connections. Fully compatible with all intercom systems, it seamlessly integrates to Riedel's Artist matrix.

Riedel's newest generation of Artist Intercom systems will also be present at the event, as well as Riedel's Performer series.

Riedel will be in Stand 10.141.
