Pixelmetrix upgrades product features
By TVTechnology published
Pixelmetrix has updated DVStor and DVStation with new features. The DVStor now comes with native support for HD MPEG-4 content streams. It can record and archive transport streams from the GigE input or the optional ASI input.
The DVStation-Mini2 DVB-T is supplemented with SNMP and CORBA management interfaces, which enable the DVStation-Mini2 DVB-T to notify a central operations center about alarms/events of interest.
The DVStation-IP3 now introduces a stream redundancy mode. In most systems today, whenever there is an encoder failure, a hot-standby redundant encoder takes control and maintains channel availability at all times. The DVStation-IP3’s stream redundancy mode allows automatic recognition and monitoring of the stream from the redundant encoder.
