Pinnacle Systems is introducing Liquid chrome, a video editing and compositing system for the post production market, which pulls together liquid editing software, TARGA 3000 Compositing Engine and K2 single-chip 3D DVE.
An addition to the Pinnacle line of Liquid network editors, Liquid chrome targets real-time post settings and features codecs for I-frame MPEG-2 4:2:2 up to 50 Mbps, uncompressed and DV25 video formats. It also includes real-time 2D and 3D DVE capability, four real-time video streams, layering and effects processing that renders many-layered effects without interrupting workflow.
Pinnacle also has a suite of software for the Liquid chrome. Liquid chrome is available for $24,995.
