Nesbit Systems Inc. will be on hand at NAB2006 to highlight Preview+, an add-on to its Media Library System (MLS) that provides a migration to file-based digital asset management solutions.
Preview+ adds video proxy files to the information managed by the Nesbit Systems MLS. The proxy files (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, WM9 or MPEG-4) provide frame accurate representation of digital content. Preview+ incorporates the IPV SpectreView ingest engine and player, a shadow browsing system that features full frame and timecode accuracy, together with logging functions and the Nesbit Systems EDL Manager -- to provide rich functionality for digital files.
Preview+ attaches to existing metadata, is compatible with existing environments, requires minimal IT services and provides many usage and tracking reports.
Nesbit Systems will demonstrate Preview+ at its suite in the Bellagio.
