Leitch has added Panasonic DVCPRO50 support to version 9.1 of VelocityHD and VelocityQ NLEs.
Version 9.1 offers real-time playback from Panasonic P2 and, when equipped with the Server Interchange Option, the NLEs are capable of transferring DVCPRO50 content to and from the Leitch NEXIO server system. The Velocity HD HD/SD NLE combines the Altitude hardware platform with the Velocity software interface. VelocityQ combines the Velocity software with the Quattrus multi-stream, real-time NLE technologies.
The release of version 9.1 is slated for September and registered VelocityHD users can download, for free, from the Leitch Web site.
