Harmonic is preparing for the IBC Show with new additions to its family of products with Rhozet CarbonServer 4.0, a workflow-based distributed transcoding system and Rhozet Carbon QC 1.0, a management system for networked Carbon Coder transcoders.
The new Carbon Server 4.0 incorporates failover protection and dynamic load balancing, and is able to manage a range of tasks from QC to transcoding to delivery.
Carbon QC 1.0 is designed as an automated QC module and fits directly into transcoding workflows and reduces the amount of manual intervention needed for assuring high quality output of file-based content. It analyzes both incoming and outgoing assets and can be configured to automatically look for a variety of video and audio problems.
Harmonic will be at stand 1.C.61, and will also exhibit its products at the Rhozet stand, 7.J11.
