ENENSYS Technologies at NAB2008 will showcase the DiviCatch RF-DTMB, its new pocket field test analyzer for DMB-T/H, the digital fixed and mobile television standard for the People’s Republic of China.
The DiviCatch RF-DTMB tunes a DMB-T/H modulated signal and performs analysis at RF, modulation and transport levels. RF measurement software included with the device provides real-time information on all critical transmission parameters, while MPEG-2 transport stream analysis software outputs real-time information on bit rates and PSI/SI signaling. An ETR290 validation scheme has been implemented to provide users with stream compliance elements, and a GPS option performs recoding of all key RF parameters synchronized with GPS coordinates, time and speed.
Also on display at NAB will be ENENSYS’s new SFNguard mechanism, designed to preserve transmitters’ SFN synchronization, and the FastCaster ASI over IP video gateway.
