Draper Offers Portable Lift for Flat-Panel Displays

Draper Inc. will introduce its new FlatScreen Lift/Case Combo at the NAB Show. The multistage design enables vertical extension of almost 2 1/2 times the flatscreen height, and is fully adjustable to any position within its size range.

The case features top, bottom and stabilization plates constructed of 18mm birch plywood, while the sides are constructed of 9mm birch plywood. Panels are secured with steel rivets to a welded tubular aluminum frame. 11 cm casters rest in caster dishes on a stabilization base plate, and the case is secured to the plate with tie downs, making it stable even in fully extended position. The flatscreen display rests on a foam bed when in the “down” position, and is surrounded on all six sides with foam when case is closed.

Draper will also show its new TorkStar Utility Line Set, a simple lifting system designed for intermittent usage, which can be used to raise and lower lighting, speakers, backdrops, scenery, banners, flags, projection screens and more. TorkStar is the latest addition to Draper’s Conceal/Reveal product line.

Draper will be at booth SL4208.
