DNF Controls is introducing the DMAT-O sports controller for video servers using the Odetics broadcast protocol. It is expected to ship this month and will be on display at NAB2003.
The sports controller lets users generate slow-motion instant replay and build and manage highlight playlists playout. It has simultaneous recording and playback capability that lets the broadcaster continue recording interviews and on-field action after cutting away to spots. Operators can use instant replays to create highlight playlists and the T-Bar provides speed control while viewing the recorded material.
