DNF Controls Launches Flex Control Network at NAB
By TVTechnology published
At NAB, DNF Controls is planning to display its Flex Control Network, which uses modular, Ethernet-based, distributed control technology for broadcast operations and offers users shared, real-time control of equipment resources.
The Flex Control Network has two main components: The Device Controller controls GPI, RS422 and Ethernet devices, including VTR's, DDR's, video servers, audio and graphics devices and routers. The DC20 provides control of four serial Ethernet devices, which the DC30 provides 32 GPI's and 32 GPO's. The Control Panel provides a familiar, tactile interface to control multiple device controllers.
The Flex Control Network-based Tally Interface Box lets mobile production truck and production and broadcast facilities share tallies and other control/status lines.
The Flex Control Network will be on display at DNF's booth (SU6127).
