Dayang to Unveil Additions to its CG, Editing and Networking Equipment

Dayang will show the latest additions to its lineup of PC-based video and audio editing systems at NAB2007.

With the new D3-Edit HD9 high-definition production workstation, five layers of HD stream play-out can be performed in real time with 3D DVEs active on the top four layers. It has integral graphics, titling and animation for standalone or networked applications. High-grade 12-bit real-time chroma-key, lumakey, graphics and title key matte extraction are incorporated. It has four upconversion modes (window, box, margin and zoom) and three downconversion modes (box, margin and zoom). The D3-Edit HD9 supports IEEE-1394 devices (miniDV, DVCAM, DVCPRO25/50), Panasonic P2/P2 HD and Sony XDCAM/XDCAM HD.

Also new from Dayang is the D3-CG 3D, a template-based HD/SD title creation system that features fast text search, editing and forwarding, real-time content update from a rolling data source, editing during play-out, plus on-the-fly control of roll and crawl position and speed. Up to nine animated logos can be generated simultaneously or independently.

Dayang is also showcasing its new Red Bridge series plug-in cards that allow broadcast-quality video signal interfacing with the latest generation of high-performance PCs. Ten cards are available.

Dayang will be in booth SU10205.
