Brick House Video unveils hot-cut, chroma keyer features for Callisto
Brick House Video introduced new features and upgrades for the Callisto range of switchers at NAB2007.
The company has added hot-cut and chroma keyer features, both intended to broaden the scope of the switcher. Hot-cut lets users switch asynchronous signals directly on the program bus with no freeze frame on the output. Callisto is commonly used in SNG trucks around the world where quick deployment and ease of use are critical.
Brick House also made the NAB debut of the Syntax HD up/crossconverter. Syntax uses a bandlet algorithm developed by Paris-based Let It Wave. Syntax is a 1RU unit that offers up/crossconversion with SDI I/O, multiformat inputs and audio processing options.
