Brick House Video to add features to Callisto switcher
By TVTechnology published
At NAB2007, Brick House Video will unveil a new chroma keyer and hot-cut features for its Callisto range of switchers.
With hot-cut, Callisto users can switch asynchronous signals directly on program bus with no freeze frame on the output.
The company will also make the NAB debut of the Syntax HD up/crossconverter. Syntax uses a super-resolution bandlet algorithm developed by Let It Wave, based in Paris. It delivers the performance advantages of motion-compensated processing without severe artifacts. Syntax is an affordable 1RU unit offering upconversion and crossconversion with SDI I/O.
