RTW Names Jochen Wainwright as Head of International Sales

Cologne, Germany - RTW, a leading manufacturer and distributor of professional audio metering and control devices, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jochen Wainwright as the company's new international sales manager. In his new role, Wainwright will draw upon his extensive background in international sales and broadcast production to enhance and further grow the RTW brand throughout the world.

Thanks to its pioneering range of audio measurement tools for studio recording and radio and TV broadcast applications, RTW has experienced consistently accelerating customer demand over the course of its 30-year history. As head of international sales, Wainwright will work to further this success in markets beyond Germany and the surrounding European countries, introducing potential customers in the U.S., South America, Australia and Asia-Pacific regions, among other areas, to the benefits of the RTW product line.

"We are very happy to have Jochen Wainwright join us," says Andreas Tweitmann, CEO and owner of RTW. "With his expertise in professional audio, he will help us in developing international markets, further strengthening the excellent international reputation of the RTW brand as the premier provider of innovative, high-quality solutions for analyzing, visualizing and controlling audio. His background in sales will also be valuable in assisting our key customers, dealers and distributors with their needs."

A 19-year veteran of the pro audio industry, Wainwright has served as head of audio production at Wige-Media in Cologne, where he was responsible for such large-scale TV productions as Formula One and Champions League football broadcasts, as well as networking the company's OB vans and planning and designing activities for its TV studios. For the 2006 FIFA World Cup championship in Germany, he co-designed the switched country-wide fibre audio network for host broadcaster HBS and Deutsche Telekom. Before joining RTW, Wainwright worked as a product manager for Riedel Communications in Wuppertal, where he was responsible for most of the Riedel product range.

"It is an honor to join RTW, a company committed to technological excellence, reliability and value for the customer," says Wainwright. "I look forward to working with such a talented, knowledgeable group of people, as we all strive toward the common goal of maintaining RTW's reputation for excellence and innovation."
