Zandar upgrades Predator HD monitoring

Zandar Technologies, a manufacturer of image processing and control systems, has enhanced its Predator MultiViewer systems to support 1080p output resolutions, automatic aspect ratio management and auto-sensing of HD and SD signals.

Higher input capacity HD12 and HD16 models have been added to the company's line of compact Predator Series MultiViewers. The new 2RU Predator high-definition monitoring systems accept 12 or 16 inputs and support for HD-SDI and SDI.

The Predator standard feature set includes audio and video monitoring, UMD and tallies, clock display and LAN control. Options include Z-Configurator layout editing software, on-screen display, GPI and ZRP remote panel.

The Predator HD8, HD12 and HD16 MultiViewers can also be equipped with the ZdH Zandar Dual Head display capability. ZdH converts the MultiViewer into a wall processor, capable of driving two displays as one virtual super-screen. With the ability to display any input on either output, images can also be spanned across both displays to add further flexibility.
